About Me

Hello! You’re on my blog! How exciting! I’m so glad you’re here and I hope it’s helpful. I’m just a 30 year-old girl from Harlan County, Kentucky who now lives in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. I’m wife to Jesse, mother to Arden & Zion, I’m a daughter, sister, and friend. I have a beautiful calico cat named Sundae. She’s very fluffy (fluffy, as in fat). Most importantly I’m a child of the cross. A daughter of the Most High King. I went to school to be a Physical Therapist Assistant and worked at an outpatient clinic for a while until I quit in 2017 to become a stay at home mom to Arden Isaiah Smith. Sadly, Arden died after I gave birth to him but in 2019 I gave birth to our Rainbow Baby, Zion Xavier Smith. This blog is for the 1 in 4 women who have loss their baby/babies and all the people whom it effects. It’s for all things south of the Mason Dixon line, which includes: sweet tea, food, monograms, southernisms, and so much more. Lastly, you will find me passionate about telling you about Jesus and how good He has been to me in every season of my life, good and bad. I don’t know everything and I’m constantly finding out who I am. You can’t find out the true you until you seek out who God is and have found who He created you to be. That’s why I love to help and watch others find their true identity in Christ. I may talk about different things than these topics, but right now this is what my life revolves around. I hope you enjoy!
